This is my favourite route to get from KIX to Sannomiya. The best thing is, if you hold a Non-Japanese passport then you will be entitled to the special discounted price of 1000 Yen one way to Kobe. There are 2 routes in play, one to Kobe and the other is to Awaji Island. To purchase a ticket just pop by the Bay Shuttle Service Counter and show them your passport. Once that’s done, you can wait at the no.12 stop for the free transfer bus that will take you to the ferry terminal. The bus ride is only about 7 minutes. Once you board the ferry your luggage will be placed in a designated area, from there it’ll take about 30 minutes to reach Kobe port. Then another free bus service will be available and you can board it to get to the Port-Liner Station at UKB (bus ride took less than 3 minutes) which will take you to Sannomiya as its final destination in less than 20 minutes for only 330 Yen one way.
