I was severely jet-lagged when I took this photo last year. It was a feeling I hadn’t felt for a long time, a hybrid between a flu and being drunk, wonderful isn’t it? My temporary nest was located nearby, called the Surve Kobe Asuta Hotel. I couldn’t check-in until after 15:00 but they were happy to look after my luggage until then. So, literally I was wondering around Kobe’s Wakamatsu Park and found this massive robot statue before resting at an internet cafe to kill time. London should have giant robot statues planted in parks too! It would make life so much more interesting, only because I like Robots and parks but I’m sure I’m not the only one!

Kobe are such a wonderful town. I just love that there are harmony between tourist attraction crowded and local lifestyles.
