This is the time where I should consider investing in a beautiful DSLR Camera or some sort of hi-tech gadget that will enable me to awaken some non-existent photography skills. At night it’s dead quiet on some streets, dark, and my vision at night is technically blind. Can’t even see a damn thing when I go down stairs every morning to reach for the lights in the office. Not to mention at home, it’s winter so it gets dark very soon and I’m first to return home, nearly tripped over the vacuum cleaner because I wanted to reach for the lights. Just reaching for the lights is a mission. I usually don’t go out alone at night, but in Japan it feels safe! I can walk around without that fear of someone lurking behind the bushes and its a wonderful experience!

Great shots. Can one take a bad photo of Asakusa at night? 😉

You’re doing pretty well! Just remember to crank up your ISO setting for handheld shots at night and you’ll be okay. Asakusa is looking good … enjoy!
