Naminoue Shrine was built on a cliff in Naha. It was a must visit for me! I simply love shrines and temples. It’s so enchanting and magical. One thing that I found that sort of broke the atmosphere was an interesting find! A statue of Emperor Meiji wearing military attire. That’s something I didn’t expect to find on shrine grounds. The dragon heads at the Temizuya were surprisingly fierce and very detailed. One thing that made my day happy was the fact someone had fun on when writing on their wooden ema wish plaque! It’s super cute and their wish is for their everyday to be good. The bear says: Leave it to me! Seriously that is the cutest plaque ever!!
