I was in Kyoto and saw a lady wearing cat prints on her Kimono!! I instantly thought ‘OMG that’s ADORABLE!!’ I’d love to have something like that in my wardrobe along with a collection of cat themed accessories. The lady in blue also had a very pretty print. Royal Blue is one of my favourite base colours for making patterns pop, literally it’s like a piece of canvas art. So far, the majority of women who I’ve seen wearing traditional clothing in Japan usually have some sort of floral design from minimal to extravagant. I’d rarely see something like cat prints and would die to own a set.

So cute~
I’ve seen a Hello Kitty yukata but never any fun prints on silk kimono. I wonder where she got it….
