Rarely but occasionally, I’d find a Kijibato in Japan. Usually by itself. I aboslutely love them. Their feathers are just so beautifully highlighted. I also made a post about it in one of my Okinawa posts: (Chapter 65) I was half way through strolling Suizenji and found one flying by my route. I felt so happy to see one again (My 3rd Encounter!) Really wish we had more of them.
