After Nichirinji, my next short stop was at Denmyoji (霑妙寺). This little temple featured a small pond, when I was there, there were 2 big koi fishes swimming around. A temizuya, and a large white pangoda. I could hear the peaceful water in tune with a monks chanting. There was probably a service going on inside at that time. A very lovely shrine and worth the little stop!

Such a beautiful spot. If I had known about your blog before writing my book I might have written about more local places in Osaka. I was too focused on the plot. Live and learn. Cheers!
