Chapter 412: Parking in Japan

I’ve noticed that in Japan the majority of drivers park their cars by backing into the spaces! Of course not everybody but occasionally you can spot the odd ones out! I never knew it was a thing until I witnessed it myself at Yume Town in Kurume. I guess it makes leaving much easier and quicker, possibly more convinient for everyone else too. I don’t drive and have no idea about driving but it makes logical sense to me that this is the way it should be, do the hard work first then have it easier later.

  1. I always park back in too as I don’t like to back out of a parking space (especially by big stores) with people walking all over and other cars moving about. When you drive head out it is much easier and safer. Cheers Pat
