The Starbucks building in Dazaifu Fukuoka had a very interesting design. The crisscross wooden architecture looked really cool. Unfortunately the line was super long and it looked really busy at the time so I didn’t go in. I’m sure the interior is just as amazing.

It is an interesting design and I relate to your comment about overly busy Starbucks cafes in Japan. I came across many like that, often with lots of tourists just sitting there trying to look cool and hoping to meet Japanese people. A bit sad really and I’m sure Starbucks would love to turn their tables over more quickly :).
