Entering the shrines took a bit of time because there were so many people slowly walking in front of me. I was in no hurry and admired the grand presence. The environemnt was bubbly, loud and full of life! The excitment surrounded me grew on me and I was extremely eager to head closer to the shrine. Once you pass the main entrance torii gate, you will come across more stone statues and a green lake. Once you’re on the bridge you will have to pass through another torii gate before getting any closer. The weather was cold and it was forecast to snow. I was dressed in my puffy jacket and ready for a days worth of amazement. I only researched briefly and didn’t know what to expect! The colourful buildings are very photogenic and I absolutely love visiting shrines!!
