Another city that I love dearly! Simply because they have trams/streetcars. In Hakodate you’d find that using this method of transport is convenient for sightseeing. It’s frequent and usually it runs every 6-12 minutes during the day, it stops at the main attractions such as the Goryokaku and Yunokawa. The prices are cheap usually between 210-250 Yen per ride, change machines are readily available onboard so you don’t have to worry if you don’t have enough change. If you want, there is a one day pass you can purchase form the tourist info centre inside the Hakodate station and it will cost 600 Yen.

I know I have said this before, but everything in Japan looks so clean and bright. Really attractive. Would love to see it, but looking at your pictures is the next best thing.
Cheers Pat
