I have a thing for turtles! They’re so adorable and peaceful looking! I saw a handful of them swimming around in the waters at the Goryokaku fort Park by the bridge furthest from the tower. The waters were clear, green, but clear enough to see the Koi Fishes too.

I have a thing for turtles, too! At one time I had a very large collection of turtle statues, figurines, paperweights ashtrays ,etc which were all various depictions of turtles. Sold many of them off as I was running out of room.
