What trip to Biei / Furano is it without trying lavender flavoured soft ice cream? I’ve always loved the smell of lavender. I use to work for a perfumery and skin care company so I was very familiar with the use of lavender but, little did I know you can eat it! As ice cream! And it tasted amazing. It was mildly sweet, creamy and milky, with a light floral lavender taste that’s very satisfying. I think it was about 200 – 300 Yen for a cone, and I certainly can do with some more lavender soft ice cream! I prefer this over Sakura.
