Chapel on the Water (水の教会)
This was one of the most beautiful attractions of Tomamu. A holy cross glowing on still waters, surrounded by clear glass, with wooden seats readied for guests to witness a very powerful sight. The front glass window will slide open automatically to reveal a piece of art that made many people around touched, accompanied with a projection on the walls and relaxing piano music. It is also a wedding venue throughout the year. I would love to visit during the winter where it has plenty of snow and ice. The resort runs a shuttle bus during 2 sessions: 6:30~7:30am and 20:30~21:30.

The Flying Tofu 
I visited during winter where everything was white and there were Christmas trees and candles in the chapel. A pity I missed the Christmas service.
