From Tadotsu Station it’s about a 10-15 min train ride to reach Kotohira Station. When I got out it definitely had a different vibe. The area was very quiet, and the station itself is pretty and VERY clean, almost like a new movie-set. By this point I still couldn’t believe I travelled from Matsuyama (the other side of the island) As Shikoku is blessed with a lot of rural nature, the trains tend to be a bit slower. I found that sometimes some trains may arrive min or two late, which was a little bit of a shock as they are usually on-the-dot-punctual in Japan.
