Chapter 729: JR Nagoya Shinkansen Gates

The plan of the day was to take the first train out to Tokyo then transfer and arrive into Morioka before noon. It was going to take me about 5 hours including transfer time. Because it was so early it was very quiet compared to the unusual buzzing day time, but there were already some people waiting for the gates to open already. The Hikari line is covered by the JR pass and also Komachi up north, the only thing is, Komachi does require you to head to the ticket office to prebook your seats for free as there are no non-reserved seat carriages on that particular line.
