I visited a fish market in Hachinohe! This one is the Mutsu Minato one which is literally a minute walk from the station. It was a quiet morning with not much happening. There’s 2 floors, lower floor has all the fresh fishes and food area where you can buy and eat. The top floor has a lot of packaged snacks. I bought myself some squid crackers, and also some black sesame seed crackers.

I used to visit Hachinohe as a kid. We’d take the ferry from Tomakomae in Hokkaido, stop there on the way to Misawa. Lovely place.
