Shiroi Koibito Park (白い恋人パーク)
One of my favourite brand of chocolates and cookies. During my first visit to Hokkaido in 2018 I skipped visiting the park because I wanted to visit less busy places and enjoy a bit more of Mother Nature.
But in 2019, I thought…What the heck…I went for a little visit since it’s free entry anyway but it is sort of out of the way from central Sapporo. I took the Tozai Subway Line from Odori Station, and got off at the last station which is Miyanosawa. The journey is about 40 mins which include a 10 min walk to the park.
If you want to goto the exhibitions then you will have to pay a fee, other than that it is free to enter the grounds. There’s a lot of shops, restaurants and cafes. Also, a demo on how sweets are made, which is very very cool! Outside was a clown making animal balloons. And the atmosphere was very lively. The interior was so busy, and of course…Full of kids. I usually do not enjoy visiting places like this but now I can say I did go and have a look around.
