Hotel Mielparque Sendai (ホテル メルパルク仙台)
Located less than 15 mins by foot from Sendai Station. It’s the grey building behind the pagoda tower. The reception area was very modern, very clean and pretty. I was staying in a semi-double room, and it was actually very spacious for 1 person, cosy and very quiet overall. I slept very well. I paid about 7000 Yen for the night. My booking included a free breakfast but, unfortunately I would be waking up very early the next morning to catch a train to Ishinomaki (石巻) so I had to skip it.

simple but very nice. The only thing i dont really like about these kind of Japanese hotels is the bathroom, just too small!
