Chapter 940: Keiten Aijin Stone Monument (敬天愛人の石碑)

This is the JR Kagoshima Main Line tunnel
On the right tunnel you will noticed 4 kanji words on the stone monument. It’s not very visible if you are just strolling by Shiroyama plus the street sign isn’t very obvious.
Sorry I couldn’t get a better picture so I tried zooming in and cropping one of my photos. The 4 kanji words 敬天愛人, Keiten Aijin is a Japanese expression that means to: revere heaven and love people, which was one of the famous Saigo Takamori’s favourite phrases.
