If you’re visiting Taketomi you can visit this little museum to explore the traditional methods of dying and weaving fabrics. All the dyes and ingredients, materials etc are made on Taketomi Island. Everything is hand-made and authentic. You can see some beautiful finished products on display. Robes and accessories.The admission is free and I think they are opened from 9am to 5pm. It’s a small museum but worth the visit.
