Hokkaido Shrine Tongu (北海道神宮頓宮) is located close to the Odori Park and it’s only a few minutes away from the Sapporo TV Tower by foot. It was a quiet morning and the charm shop wasn’t opened yet but the shrine was standing mighty even in the light cold rain. It’s a small shrine when compared to others, but a beautiful one with a very intricate design to its wooden architect. The tip of the shrine roof has 2 wings highlighted in gold and the torii gate is a light grey colour. A very beautiful Shinto shrine overall and worth the short visit.
