With just over a month to go before I fly to Japan again, I’m pretty much ready to go now. I’ve recently bought my 21 day JR Pass and the only thing missing is Japanese Yen! Because Sterling is weak at the moment, I haven’t found the right opportunity to exchange currency but hopefully within the next 1-2 weeks the rate would be better!
I’ll be starting my journey from Haneda International Airport. The places I’m definitely visiting will be: Tokyo, Kobe, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Miyajima, Tottori, Matsuyama, Kotohira, Tokushima, Takamatsu, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Morioka, Hachinohe, Aomori, Hirosaki, Hakodate, Sapporo and Sendai.
I’ll try to make time to visit Naruto, Okunoshima, Matsue and Toyama. They’ll be slightly out of the way but kinda on the way if you know what I mean. But, I’ll need time to get there and use my time effectively. I simply can not wait!!

The last trip I did Okunoshima and it’s just fantastic, but it’s so crowded in the weekends so keep that in mind — and there’s no bunny food on the island. Matsuyama was fun, I really like Hiroshima (except the crazy cyclists). I really liked Hakodate as well, the seafood is utterly amazing…

In Matsuyama use the chair lift to go up and down — the views are spectacular, far better than using the ropeway (and more fun, if you’re not scared of heights!).

I posted some of it on my IG page. You can find a link to it from all my reviews. But do be warned it’s a busy tourism town! 🙂
