Chapter 1000: Yoko Gushiken Monument (具志堅用高モニュメント)

At the Ishigaki Port there is a bronze statue of Yoko Gushiken (具志堅 用高). He was a famous professional boxer who competed during 1974 to 1981. I’m not a huge fan of boxing and neither do I know a lot about the sport…. But it was pretty unexpected to find this at the port before boarding my boat.
